MVX Drive:
The new
Cutler-Hammer MVX9000 by Eaton Corporation is a sensorless
vector AC drive designed to provide adjustable speed control of
three-phase motors. This microprocessor-based drive can be
programmed to tailor performance to suit a wide variety of
industries such as: Fans and pumps (refrigeration, HVAC,
exhaust, Machine tool (drill press, saws, lathes, etc.),
Manufacturing and material handling (conveyors, mixers,
packaging, etc.), Commercial applications (laundry machines, car
washes, automatic doors, etc.) |

HVX
Series Drives Eaton’s newest family of HVAC variable
frequency drives with the optional Intellipass option. The
IntelliPass continues the tradition of providing a premier
intelligent drive integrated with a reliable bypass
configuration, by incorporating Cutler-Hammer Intelligent
Technologies (IT.), enclosed control and circuit
breaker expertise. The patented IntelliPass is designed around
the new Cutler-Hammer HVX9000 Drive and incorporates the highly
successful IT. product family. The HVX9000 series
drives are “next generation” -specifically engineered for
HVAC, pump and fluid control applications. The IntelliPass
bypass is a two or three contactor design using 24VDC IT. series
of contactors and power supplies. The IT. features,
functions and form enable the drive and bypass to become an
integrated design - making it the world’s smallest drive and
bypass package. The IntelliPass comes standard with a
Cutler-Hammer HMCP integrated into the drive and bypass design.
The product family is 70% lighter and has a footprint that is
one third the size of other typical bypass drive offering. The
packaging mounts to a standard HVX9000 drive and does not
increase the width of the drive when the bypass is added. This
design also significantly reduces the weight of the bypass
drive, decreasing shipping costs and making the units easier and
quicker for contractors to install. |

Drives: Eaton's Cutler-Hammer expanded drive offering now covers
a complete line of PWM adjustable frequency drives with a full
range of options and enclosure types. Drive applications include
simple variable torque to more complex industrial applications
such as conveyors, mixers, machine controls, HVAC and Oil &
Gas with ratings from:
- 1/4 to 125 hp for
230V (200 - 240 Series)
- .75 to 1000 kW for
380V (380 - 440 Series)
- 1/2 to 1100 hp for
480V (440 - 500 Series)
- 2 to 800 hp for 575V
(525 - 690 Series)
